North Yorkshire Waste

The North Yorkshire Waste project is a waste management PFI contract with North Yorkshire County Council. The project is fully operational, with a new facility constructed to deliver the contracted services, which commenced operations in 2018.

Revenues are generated through gate fees paid by the council and other third-party suppliers for accepting waste deliveries, alongside sales of electricity generated from the incineration of waste.

The operations and maintenance provider is Amey. Equitix is a 63% shareholder, with 33% held by Foresight and the remainder retained by Amey Ventures.
