Equitix Foundation
The Equitix foundation was established with the vision of creating a lasting entity that can materially and positively impact charities which are connected to the assets and communities that Equitix serves.
The foundation primarily acquires its funding through an annual charity drinks event, hosted and funded by Equitix and through charitable donations given by employees matched by the firm.
Its model permits us to maximise its giving capabilities and allows every employee to take a leading role in how the money should be spent. Witnessing the benefits our fundraising has on small local charities is an enormous and fulfilling reward.
Our vision is to grow the Foundation and surpass each previous year’s donations with the aim of substantially supporting the real people our assets impact.
Our annual charity drinks event in December 2021 raised just over £93k in support of three headline charities; Manchester Young Community Champions, Queens Court Hospice (Lancashire), Simpsons Special Care Babies (Edinburgh).

The Railway Children
The Railway Children provide protection and opportunity for children with nowhere else to go and nobody to turn to. Every year thousands of children across the UK, India and East Africa run away or are forced to leave homes that have become unbearable through poverty, abuse, violence and neglect. Reaching a child as soon as possible is crucial to getting to children on the streets before an abuser can, and before they become entrenched in street life. The Railway children race to get to children before the streets get to them.

The Pantry by Healthy Living Platform
The Healthy Living Platform is a charity that is all about offering activities which benefit the health and wellbeing of the whole community. They develop community projects and activities that empower local people and sustain themselves. Encourage healthy and sustainable lifestyles by providing practical training, education, information and support on nutrition, cookery, food growing, health and wellbeing.

First Class Foundation
The First Class Foundation works to support young people aged 13-25 from BAME backgrounds across the west midlands to tackle youth violence, build mental health resilience and connect them to their purpose by exposing them to new opportunities. They are passionate about challenging the over representation and under representation of BAME young people in key sectors.
A huge thank you to Equitix for this amazing gift. The main challenge for us has always how we can raise enough money to deliver what we want for the community. This vital cash injection is essential to us, so we can continue to support the young and the community.”
