Crail Meters Limited(Project Winter)

Crail Meters comprises a portfolio of 186,000 industrial and commercial gas and electricity meters (split 53.15% and 46.85% respectively) which are installed (by others) across the UK. The project is perpetual but requires meters to be updated once they reach the end of their asset life (20 to 40 years).

Revenues are generated from rental payments which are either contracted or through deemed rates. At the time of acquisition 74% of revenue was from contracted rentals.

The meter asset manager (MAM) and management services provider is SMS Asset Management Limited. The shareholders are Equitix Fund IV (19.9%), Equitix Fund V (26.7%), Equitix Fund VI (26.7%) and Equitix MA 1 (26.7%).
