Project Knight

Knight comprises an operational onshore wind portfolio of 46 MW total capacity across five wind farms and one solar farm with 4.5MWp. The solar farm is in the south of the UK and the wind farms are spread over the south and east coasts of the UK.

The wind portfolio is equipped with 2.0 MW turbines from Vestas, is expected to generate approximately 130 GWh per annum and started operation in several tranches between November 2010 and May 2015. The project benefits from subsidy schemes, renewables obligation certificates and feed-in tariff revenues, and sells power via floating power purchase agreements to Statkraft and Npower Ltd.

Vestas is the long-term operations and maintenance service provider for the turbines and Lightsource Renewable Energy is the solar operations and maintenance provider. The commercial manager is RES.
